As it may seem, I tried to book the month of July reviews for mostly food shops! This is because, this month is my birthday. So tonight I am so excited to take my first bite of a jar cake from a dear friend who owns CK Bakery Shop. First, let me tell you a little about this business. The owner is a Military wife, and a dedicated baker. She decided to bake cakes in a mason jar, for a business. These cakes are sweeping the country! Let me tell you! She has shipped to many of our military members who are currently deployed. Thats right! These men can get cake in a jar, and its quite a hit! The cake has a long shelf life, i'm talking super long. Mine don't expire till 12/27/11. Oh yeah, thats amazing! They are baked to order, packaged safely in a flat rate box, and shipped to your home. She has some amazing flavors, but apparently she wanted to send me nothing but chocolate! A woman's dream come true.

I received Chocolate Cake, Chocolate Chip Cake, and Chocolate "Cav" Cake. By the end of this review I might be super hyper and have plenty of typo's. So bare with me. Here is a photo of the inside of the jars. 

So the first one i'm eating is the Chocolate Cake. Probably best served with a nice cool glass of milk. But I have koolaid. I must say, the mixture is not bad at all! The chocolate cake is a very moist cake. Surprisingly it is not sticky, and shipped very well. The flavor is simply amazing! Its so chocolaty, moist, and could be an amazing bed time snack. 

The second up is the Chocolate Chip Cake. I was personally excited for this one, since chocolate chip cookies are my weak point. If this woman ever makes cookies in a jar, i'm going to move in with her. Just saying. Well the Chocolate Chip Cake kind of tastes like a moist cookie, the cake part that is. It is very moist, but not sticky at all. Its not very spongy but its firm. When you get a bite with the chocolate chips in it, its quite amazing. It truly tastes like a cookie cake. I give this a 2 thumbs up.

Sadly I was unable to sample the third cake due to an allergy. I did not inform the business of my allergy by mistake. The Chocolate "Cav" Cake actually has peanut butter in it. Sadly, i'm allergic. However that did not stop my boyfriend from digging in. He did grab a glass of milk, a spoon, and took the jar! I think this photo explains his review of it. It smelt amazing, but he seriously went to town with it! Men so cute when they get all excited for baked goodies?

If you want to mail a special Military person a gift, or a care package speak to CK Bakery Shop! She even has a Red White and Blue cakes. She is a true Military Wife, and is an amazing baker. Her cakes are very affordable. A Large Jar of cake is $4.00!! A small jar, like the one my boyfriend is eating is only $2.00! You could afford to send your loved one at least four different cakes! I have had the pleasure to receive some cake bites from MP Cakes and Goodies. I won a $10.00 store credit from another Facebook business give away! When she contacted me, I was unsure how much I could sample with only $10.00. Well, this shop is very affordable! I was able to get about 4 dozen cake bites! My goodness, what can I do with so many cake bites? What surprised me as well was the fact I was able to choose the flavor and coating! I wanted to challenge this baker, see what she could do. I requested a Banana flavored cake, mixed in vanilla frosting, then coated with white chocolate for the outer shell. 

Well they sure are amazing! As you can see they look very moist and scrumptious. I love the flavor of these cake pops, it is such a strong banana flavor. Not like most banana things where its just a hint of flavor. The outter layer was not melted by the heat, which was very shocking to me. Oh and you can see my puppy Zoey staring at the cake pop, hoping that I would share some with her.. So cute!

What makes me love this seller so much is the fact my cake pops were suppose to be shipped and delivered before the 4th of July weekend. However, the seller did not want my cake pops to sit at the post office for the  long holiday. Instead she over nighted them to me! I nearly dropped the cake pops when I saw the cost of shipping. I highly suggest if you want affordable cake pops, this woman is the lady to check out!

I was looking for some jump rings to use for my products that I have started to create. Well I have these amazing Lego Octopus pieces but no jump rings to match my chains or to fit the piece. I was browsing Etsy and came across this amazing man. He was able to make me 15 rings of each color I wanted. I simply contacted him with the size, colors, and asked if he could make them for me. Within less than 24 hours he informed me that this order could be full filled! I was so excited, he even asked if I had a deadline he had to meet. Although I did not, I had my products within a week! Amazing, simply amazing.

The quality of the rings were perfect, there was not a scratch on any of the jump rings. It was as if he used the perfect tools that were soft enough not to leave a mark. The jump rings were the perfect size, perfectly cut, perfect circles and just simply perfect. I could not express how happy I was with this order. They even included a free magnet with their logo so I could never forget them, and included some free rings in different colors and sizes!! Seriously, how generous could this company be? On a scale 1-10 it is a perfect 12! That's how happy I am with this.

After two weeks, our sample for Raisels is here! How exciting right? The chance to taste a fruity flavored raisin! It arrived in a yellow bubble envelope with a sample and a cute business card! I received a 1 ounce bag of the product. I must admit the first taste is very shocking! It is definitely a different snack that is healthy and tasty at the same time. Unlike the hard, full of stems regular box of raisins, these were soft, full of flavor and colorful. The Sour Watermelon was certainly sour and the after taste of watermelon makes these treats hard to put down. Even Zoey, our puppy adored them! She kept attacking us for more. The overall appeal of these make other snacks "made with real fruit" nothing more then a joke.

These treats are 100% Vitamin C, all natural flavor, real dried fruit and a light dusting of sugar. This snack contains less sugar then sweetened dried cranberries. Which make them a healthy alternative to cookies, candy and sugary fruit snacks. They are fat free, cholesterol free, and have low sodium. I must say, if your a mom, these might be a snack you would want to buy for your kid(s). They are amazing!

I was given the chance to receive a free sample of iChill for myself and my boyfriend. Our main intent was writing a review on this unique item. So here it goes!! It took only a week for my request of the sample to be processed and sent out. It was packaged in a yellow bubble mailer with two samples and a folded card about the product. Let me tell you the basics about this product before getting into the review section.

So with that being said, my boyfriend and I tried this product after a long day of errands, cleaning and a very yummy dinner. So after a long long day we decided that it was 1am and we needed to sleep. Well the iChill was very convenient, and it was sitting there asking for us to drink it.

Misty's Review: Within 30 minutes after I drank iChill, I was ready for sleep. It was not an over whelming feeling of sleepiness, but a mild feeling that it was time to go relax and leave the computer. Once I laid down, and got to the perfect comfortable position I was ready to doze off. Quicker then expected. Our little puppy decided it was play time however and kept jumping on us after an hour of drinking iChill. The constant dozing in and out has left me very sleepy and irritable. This product is probably for those who don't have a nocturnal puppy! I'm sure if Zoey didn't keep me awake for the first 3 hours i'd feel so much better. I bet i'll sleep 10x better tonight that's for sure. I do feel this product would be good for other people to use and get a great sleep.

Joseph's Review: Overall it feels like a sleeping pill. Unfortunately sleeping pills make me very cranky, this product was not an exception. The taste was not much to be desired, but it they way it smelled made drinking it tangible. iChill is suppose to make me relax and relieve stress, well it worked because I don't remember a single thing after I closed my eyes.

Well there is a review from two different sides! So if you love to CHILL out after work or after a long stressful day, then this product is for you!

As I began my journey into the Resin world. I ran across this amazing website at www.resinobsession.com, and I must say it is quite the "one stop shop spot"! I found everything that was needed right there on her web store. ResinObsession carries 4 different types of resin, numerous molds, mold release sprays, colorants, and the site even has tutorials. Honestly, I don't think this site needs any improving. Perhaps a few zombie molds. But thats just me!!! =] 

I received my molds all wrapped tightly in purple tissue paper. It was quite the cute surprise. However I was missing a mold, and received a piece of paper that explained my mold was on back order. I was quite annoyed but I waited a week. I finally e-mailed Ms. Cindy and she said it will be delivered the next day! I was very excited and even skipped to the mail box. There it was, my amazing new mold! Once again it was packaged in a cute purple tissue paper and looked so cute. However Ms. Cindy added some extra goodies in my package. I must say, she is amazing and has a great shop. If your looking into Resin as a art medium, check out this site!!

I received some samples from a wonderful company called Girl Nature. Her products are made out of 100% raw, unrefined Shea butter. When receiving this package I could smell it the second I opened my mail box! The wonderful scent of these products are very strong! I ripped the packaging open and had to smell each one. 

I was also given a piece of paper with information on eat product. The one thing that stood out on this paper was the allergy warning for people with allergies to nuts. I am highly allergic to all Tree Nuts. I contacted Girl Nature and found out Shea Butter is created with nut oils. However, when I applied the product to my hand I waited a few hours, I did not have an allergic reaction! So the oil content must be very, very low.

When my wonderful yet handsome boyfriend came home I made him smell my hand. He actually LOVES these products! They smell amazing, each smell for a different mood. I was wearing Black Raspberry Vanilla, and it honestly made me feel like a sexy woman! I suggest girls, when getting ready for that date or clubbing, grab a Girl Nature Shea Butter and every man you dance past or walk past will be looking at you. These smell amazing and are very potent. Go grab you some, and say Misty sent you!!

I had the pleasure of doing a product trade with It's Owl Right. I sent her one of my products, and she sent one of hers. The intention was for us to write a review on each other. It was a great experience, and a wonderful pleasure! 

I was sent one of her signature wrist clutches. She chose which one was going to be sent to me, and I was not able to choose any colors. I was sent a gorgeous pink Tye-Dye with a brown flower design. I must say, that these two colors have been my favorite since I was about 15 years old! I was very ecstatic that she was able to choose colors that fit me, without even knowing me. The clutch came with a wrist part that can be removed if the person choses to remove it. It looks as if it was professionally made, the color of the thread matches the theme as well. The inside has a pocket, perhaps for money or business cards. The clutch is big enough to hold cards, credit cards, make up, and many more things. 

I use it for my jewelry making supplies and hardware. It fits perfectly inside my own purse that I carry around with me. I would definetly recommend this for any young lady or women who love to keep things in a portable yet stylish hand bags! It really is easy to keep with you, does not add a lot of extra weight to your purse.

I received my samples from Regina Bell who sells Pink Spa Party! I was very excited for this package as it has a couple wonderful samples in it! When I checked my mail box this is what I saw.

Very cute is it not? I love the presentation, the pink envelope, and how it just catches your attention! When the envelope was opened there were three samples for me, and a brochure with other products.

I loved that Regina included a brochure that explained every product she has to offer. The samples I received was a body souffle in the scent of "Tuscan Lace", a Pedi Whip in the scent of "Peppermint", and a Body Butter in the scent of "Tropical Sunrise". Being me, I have already smelled each product, and I must say they smell very scrumptious! My hands and my feet are beyond softer.  I love the smell of Tuscan Lace the most. I must say it has a very romantic sensual smell to it! I would recommend these products to everyone. Not only are the products amazing, but they have a product to suit everyones needs.

I will tell you what each product is for, copied from the brochure I was given.

I was playing my first ever Facebook game, which was being done on LoLe's Giggles page. She had many games going on! I must admit, they were very fun and addicting. I won the option of 4 clippies of any bottle cap image of my choosing. All I simply said to this woman was "Make it skulls." I must admit, after I sent that message to her I was quite nervous about what I would receive. 

I received my images about 5 days later after the games and after I paid for postage. When I received my gift I found a wonderful assortment of skull images, and a free pony tail O thing. The images were very cute, very crisp images. I loved each of them as I pulled them out of the yellow bubble mailer. In the mailer was also her business card with its cute owls! I must admit, business cards having cute images really draw me in! If the business card is boring, how do they expect to keep your interest.

The clippies are very durable, they do quite fine in my hair when I use moose. They stay in my fine hair when I leave it straight. The clippies are not overly childish so they look ok in my hair and even my puppies hair as well.

I had the pleasure of receiving treats from PixieGirlTreats. A home based company that caters to our 4 legged fur babies. I must admit that I have a very picky little Maltipoo who rejects treats very easily. How ever, the day I received these treats, my puppy named Zoey demanded to eat four of them within 20 minutes! She absolutely loves these treats.

They are made out of human grade ingredients, that are all organic. There are no preservatives, no bypass products, and no horrible fillers! They are completely healthy for us humans, and our fur babies! These treats arrive in a FDA approved bag, and can be refrigerated or put into the freezer for a long period of time. They do not have to be given to your pet within a couple days! Which means theres more days to spoil them with amazing treats!

Charm Factory Jewelry Tag

I was searching web sites for a perfect addition to my "Animal Abuse Awareness" jewelry when I came to Charmfactory.com. They had a section for Custom Jewelry Tags. When I contacted them about this, they were kind enough to offer me a chance to do a product review for them and receive 25 free custom tags! I was more then excited for this! My only dilemma was finding what exactly to put on them. After a few days, I finally asked if we could do a half and half. One half saying "Pawalicious" and the other saying "iSupport". This company is unbelievably kind! They were more than happy to accommodate me on this.

I received my tags within 3 days of placing the order. The package was very simple in a yellow bubble envelope. When I opened it, I saw my tags rolled up tightly inside another small jewelry type bag. They were taped closed and wrapped perfectly. I was able to put 18mm rings onto them, and attach it to my Animal Abuse necklace. I must say they perfectly balance the necklace out. I have had so many people interested in them. They are the perfect touch for those jewelry makers who want to personalize their own works of art!
